SCU - First Online Univ.
for Flexible Academic YearSCU is the 1st online university in Korea to utilize the Flexible Academic Year (FAY). FAY is the semester system with the summer and winter intensive terms, which takes semblance of the quarter system. Within FAY, the student can allocate the workload of the courses into the 4 different terms to either slow down or quicken the pace of learning activity. For instance, the student may alleviate the workload on the 1st and 2nd semester by increasing the number of courses, assigned for the summer and winter terms.
