Faculty Overview
The Faculty of Liberal Studies offers flexibility to the student who intends to make their own study plan across multiple fields of research at the university. The student can hone the analytic and critical way of thinking, while interacting within and between disciplines. The Faculty is oriented toward the interdisciplinary studies, in which the student can seek the intellectual creativity and independence in research, and broaden the study area beyond the disciplinary distinctions.
The Faculty provides the 3 different areas of study, from which the student can choose: Humanities and Social Sciences, Knowledge and Culture, Global Leadership. The student may pursue his or her research interest from each of the study areas, and eventually find the study subject to specialize in. The student can decide upon the major study until the end of 3rd semester. At the same time, the student is given a certificate for completing the course works from the chosen study area.
