Department Overview
Students learn all procedures and methods for removing, preventing, and managing the relevant risks while scientifically surveying the causes arising during industrial activities. They study the basics of industrial health and engineering extensively, including the mechanism of accidents, safety management, investigation, industrial hygiene, risk assessment, and relevant statutes especially in machinery, electricity, chemical engineering, and construction sectors.

- Public officials related to the safety of central and local governments, such as the Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Employment and Labor, and National Institute of Chemical Safety
- Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, Korea Industrial Safety Association, Korea Electrical Safety Corporation, Korea Gas Safety Corporation, and state-run and private research institutes related to safety and health
- Health and safety managers of private enterprises (mandatory employment for a certain size or larger)
