Morales, referred to as CSUSB). The main content of the agreement is the dual degree program between the College of Business Convergence and CSUSB. This program allows students to study for 2 years at our university and 2 years at CSUSB to obtain degrees from both institutions. It is the first program implemented together by CSUSB and a cyber university. Notably, since the CSUSB courses are conducted online, this program enables working professionals and adult learners to earn both domestic and international degrees simultaneously, marking it as the first "online dual degree" program in the country. President Tomas D. Morales and his wife, accompanied by Professor Oh Hyun-kyung, visited our university. Our delegation included President Lee Eunjoo, Chairman Lee Sang-kyun, and numerous faculty members from the College of Business Convergence. After signing the agreement, they enjoyed a campus tour to experience our excellent online education system. This research-intensive institution provides more than 70 undergraduate and graduate programs across six colleges and serves approximately 20,000 students. In the 2023 rankings by U.S. News & World Report, it placed 100th among public universities in the United States. Since 2017, our university has offered an exchange program for students to study abroad at CSUSB, aiming to build global leadership and provide advanced education opportunities. President Lee Eunjoo stated, "I hope that this agreement will allow both universities to create synergy." She added, "Seoul Cyber University will actively cooperate in the exchange and collaboration between the two institutions in the future." |
